Rain doesn't stop play at Rosemount community day

Dunedin Canmore tenants and staff got together in the Rosemount Building courtyard in Haymarket to enjoy a blether and some food.

Despite the pouring rain there was a good turnout and residents had a chance to catch up, have a bite to eat and get advice on fuel bills, benefits and getting online.

They were joined by Police Scotland who were on hand to talk to people about some of the anti-social behaviour issues in the area.

Housing Officer Nadia Winnick said: “It was brilliant to see so many tenants. It was chucking it down but that didn’t stop people from popping by and saying hello.

"We’ve been holding a lot of community events like this. It’s a good chance for us to listen to customers and let them know how we can help. It’s also nice for everyone to get out the house and meet their neighbours.”
