Dunedin Canmore provides affordable housing and outstanding services for people in its communities across Edinburgh, the Lothians and Fife.

Dunedin Canmore owns and manages around 5500 homes and has an ambitious new-build programme to build hundreds more.

As part of Wheatley Group – Scotland’s leading housing, care and property-management group – Dunedin Canmore has an unrelenting focus on delivering award-winning customer service and sector-leading business performance.

With plans to take services to the next level through a new five-year strategy, Dunedin Canmore now has a rare opportunity for a talented and experienced leader to join us as Head of Housing.

The successful candidate will lead and support Dunedin Canmore’s teams of dedicated staff through the next stage of their journey, including our on-going digital transformation.

Experience of working in a senior management role in housing is essential, as is a strong track record in achieving top performance results.

You must be able to demonstrate an ability to inspire and motivate staff to deliver first-class services in our communities including colleagues working in housing, asset management, repairs and maintenance, and environmental services.

You will support your teams to develop their confidence and skills so they can find the right solutions and services to help each individual customer.

You’ll also be a strategic and analytic thinker; be used to working in a pressurised and regulatory environment; and be adept at writing reports and customer-facing communications. Experience of influencing decision-makers at all levels is desirable.

Successful applicants will be subject to a basic disclosure check.
