About Wheatley Homes East

Wheatley Homes East provides affordable housing for people in Edinburgh, the Lothians and Fife.

Wheatley Homes East owns and manages around 6400 homes in the east of Scotland.

As an organisation we invest heavily in our homes. By 2020, we spent £30.5 million making our homes warmer, better and more energy-efficient.

We also provide support for people who are homeless.

We know that not everyone is eligible for social housing – that's why we are also increasing our number of homes available for market and mid-market rent, and shared ownership.

Wheatley Homes East is a non-profit making charity. We are a Registered Social Landlord, registered with and regulated by the Scottish Housing Regulator.

We also work hard with our partners to offer people in our areas jobs and training opportunities.

We are passionate about giving people a real say on what happens to their homes and neighbourhoods. We are proud to be part of Wheatley Group, Scotland’s leading housing, care and property-management group.
