Volunteering makes a difference to lives
OUR Volunteer Plus partnership helped young people change their lives – and help others too.
Volunteering can help you find a new career, improve your confidence and make a difference to other people.
It’s a great way to increase your skills, improve your CV and meet new people - and it could even help you land your dream job.
The Volunteer Plus partnership between Loretto Care, Project Scotland and the Wheatley Foundation, gave people volunteering opportunities in youth work, sport, animal care, social media, fundraising, admin and more.
Emma Hanlon, from Volunteer Plus, said: “Volunteering can be a lot of fun – and rewarding too.“It was a brilliant way for young people to expand their horizons and give back to their communities."
