Month of Engagement: Customer Forum

Dunedin Canmore tenants got to hear more about us and have their say at our quarterly Customer Forum.

Tenants found out how Wheatley Group’s Community Improvement Partnership – which is made up of housing staff, police and fire officers – is tackling anti-social behaviour in our communities.

Dunedin Canmore’s Customer Panel also discussed their report on anti-social behaviour at the event in New Mart Road, Edinburgh on 27 November.

The Forum, which was part of November’s Month of Engagement, heard how staff support tenants who need help to keep on top of their rent and how customers can have a say about rents for 2019/2020.

Meanwhile, Dunedin Canmore’s Sharing Owners’ Forum is aiming to put on a customer event for 28 February 2019.

Shared ownership is a form of low-cost home ownership that combines renting with buying.

Owners met with staff to discuss a new brochure which will set out service charges and costs for sharing owners. Plans also include an updated five-year investment programme and using drones to carry out roof inspections.
